Seeking EDF 2026 partners for hydrogen production, storage and resilient defence energy systems
Director of Business Development and Strategic Partnerships at Hydrogenera
Sofia, Bulgaria
About
Hydrogenera is a Bulgaria-based manufacturer of turnkey hydrogen solutions with in-house capabilities in the design, engineering and production of alkaline electrolysers and metal hydride hydrogen storage systems.
We are seeking to join a consortium under EDF-2026-DA-ENERENV-HPES (High-performance energy systems) as a specialised technology partner. Our strongest relevance is in hydrogen-related modules for production, storage, refuelling and logistics, as well as subsystem integration within resilient and modular multi-energy architectures for defence applications.
Hydrogenera can contribute to the development of functional building blocks for hydrogen generation and storage, engineering support for safe hydrogen handling and refueling concepts, and adaptation of mature civilian hydrogen technologies to demanding operational environments. We are particularly interested in cooperation on stationary and deployable defence energy systems, where reliability, interoperability, resilience, compact integration and efficient energy management are critical.
We are looking to connect with defence primes, system integrators, microgrid and energy-management specialists, research organisations, testing centers and end users involved in operational-base or deployable energy infrastructure. Our goal is to contribute hardware, engineering know-how and subsystem integration capacity to collaborative EDF projects that strengthen European technological capability and energy resilience.
