Dr. Dutta is a biomedical engineer with a strong entrepreneurial background and an impressive global career. He earned a Bachelor of Engineering from Jadavpur University, India, followed by an M.S. from the University of Florida and a Ph.D. from Case Western Reserve University, USA. Additionally, he obtained an M.S. from the Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin Stroke Research Centre, Germany, reflecting his broad expertise in post-stroke rehabilitation and neuroengineering.

Dr. Dutta’s career spans academic and research roles worldwide, including key positions at prestigious institutions. Early in his career, he worked with Tata Consultancy Services, India, gaining valuable industry insights. He later contributed to cutting-edge research at the Janelia Farm Research Campus (Howard Hughes Medical Institute) and the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, focusing on neurotechnology and rehabilitation science. His international experience deepened with a Humboldt Research Fellowship at the University Medicine Göttingen in Germany, where he expanded his expertise in neuroimaging.

Following this, Dr. Dutta worked as a starting research scientist at INRIA, France, advancing computational models and neurotechnologies.
