"Black Sea Route" Association

The “Black Sea Route” tourist route is an ambitious project focused on sustainable tourism for the creation of a comprehensive tourist product based on cycling and hiking tourist route along the Black Sea coast, combining natural and cultural assets with the opportunity to spend time actively. With the development of the infrastructure and the promotion of the route, it has the potential to become an important part of the tourist offer of Bulgaria, Romania and Türkiye and help the development of the Black Sea coastal area and community.
The aim of our initiative is the creation of a tourist route along the Black Sea coast of Romania, Bulgaria and Türkiye, similar to the international transcontinental hiking routes E3, E4 and E8 (passing through the territory of Bulgaria), as well as the system of trans-European cycle routes EuroVelo. In its overall form, the route will connect the Danube delta, Constanta, Varna, Burgas and Istanbul, with far future aims to also implies its development to a complete tour of the Black Sea.
