About me
Laurence Vigneron (PhD in Biomedical Sciences, 1995) is chief coordinator of the Vaccine Centre of Excellence of the Federal Agency for Medicines and Health Products (FAMHP) in Brussels, Belgium. Before that, she had a 28 years career in the pharmaceutical industry, where she was involved in the development of more than 15 medicinal products, mainly vaccines. She has hands-on experience in clinical development, medical affairs and project and program management for projects in Europe, Africa, South America, the United States and Asia. She was actively involved in international collaborations with WHO and the Gates Foundation, among others. Her current role is to coordinate vaccine-related activities at the FAMHP and to monitor and facilitate cross-disciplinary cooperation within the FAMHP, and with its key partners at national, european and international level.
