About
Advancing disease treatment through innovations in viral vector-based gene therapy
The project " Advancing disease treatment through innovations in lentiviral based gene therapy" aims to deliver a first-in-class recombinant in vivo gene therapy for the disease. It will create a gene therapy for a partners' selected disease. Amongst other innovative steps, the new viral vector-based therapy will be based on ProteoNic's ability to improve the production of protein components (e.g. packaging cell lines) . ProteoNic seeks Partners (in need of ATMPs) to develop a new gene therapy product and/or a cost-efficient broadly applicable gene therapy method. ProteoNic will develop and be key in generating required optimized viral vector components.
ProteoNic has cooperated in various, successful, projects: e.g. an Horizon 16-partners project and it was the leading partner in an Eureka Eurostars project.
