We are Metsä Group

Our products are based on renewable wood grown in sustainably managed Northern forests. We invest in growth, innovating new bioproducts, and building a fossil-free future. Our company structure is unique: our parent company Metsäliitto is a co-operative owned by more than 90,000 Finnish forest owners. We consist of five business areas (Metsä Forest, Metsä Wood, Metsä Fibre, Metsä Board and Metsä Tissue) that promote the use of renewable products and develop alternatives to fossil-based materials. Our innovation company Metsä Spring invests in innovations and technologies that create new uses for northern wood.
