About

TwentyFifty is an advanced materials and circular economy company developing scalable alternatives to conventional plastics. Through its proprietary material platform, the company transforms food-grade and bio-based resources into high-performance, plastic-free products designed for injection moulding, extrusion and hot pressing applications.

Unlike conventional petroleum-based plastics and many mainstream bioplastics, TwentyFifty’s core materials do not rely on PLA, PBAT, PBS or PHA. The platform is designed to support a broad range of applications, including food-service products, consumer goods and other high-value manufactured products, while enabling rapid degradation under natural or controlled treatment conditions.

TwentyFifty’s business model extends beyond material substitution. The company is building an integrated circular economy system connecting raw-material utilisation, product manufacturing, consumption, collection, organic waste treatment, composting, regenerative agriculture and carbon data management. Products and compatible food waste can be processed together, helping businesses and cities reduce waste-disposal costs, lower dependence on incineration and landfill, and convert discarded resources into compost, soil inputs and other recoverable value.

The team has developed end-to-end capabilities covering material formulation, processing technology, equipment adaptation, product design, pilot-scale validation, commercial production and international market development. TwentyFifty has maintained stable supply to food-service customers, supported major international events, and established business relationships across Europe, North America, Australia and Asia.

The company’s innovations have received international recognition, including the NEXTY Award at Expo West, the Red Dot: Best of the Best award and the iF Design Award.

TwentyFifty is currently expanding through strategic investment, regional distribution partnerships, international brand collaborations, key-account joint development, overseas manufacturing partnerships and circular economy demonstration projects. With growing demand from distributors and commercial partners in multiple markets, the company aims to establish an internationally scalable platform that connects plastic replacement, waste reduction, carbon management and regenerative resource systems.
