Deputy Minister of Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Türkiye at Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Türkiye

Türkiye

About

The project will provide the fastest, most economical, and safest transportation between Ankara, the capital city, and Istanbul, the most populous cities in our country. The aim of this project is to shorten travel times on high-speed rail lines connecting Ankara to Konya, Sivas, Kayseri, etc., and to provide a high-quality and comfortable transportation option.

As part of the project, it is also planned to determine whether the Sincan-Beypazarı-Çayırhan (Ayaş Tunnel) line will be used as a main line tunnel and route, or as an emergency escape tunnel, within the scope of the existing project. A revised feasibility study has been conducted for the BOT (Build-Operate-Transfer) model. It has been submitted to SBB (State Hydraulic Works) and awaiting for the feedback.
