About
Suez Canal Authority is looking to go in a partnership with distinguished Chinese party in the field of shipbuilding to implement the development process of our shipyard(s).
This partnership would extend to participate in the management of the shipyards for a specific contractual period to transfer management skills and monitor the quality of the project, then transfer the management to the Egyptian side entirely with the principle of UPGRADE, OPERATE then TRANSFER "UOT
PORT TAWFIQ SHIPYARD is located at SUEZ city at a strategic place in the southern entrance of the SUEZ CANAL.
The main activity:
Ship repair and building activities for units up to 2000 TDW.

• The total area of PORT TAWFIQ SHIPYARD is a 50000m²
• Workshops , area of 18350 m²
• Length of quays 1250m with depth 6m.
• Repair area 19000 m²
• Max docking capacity up to 2000 DWT.
• 5 repair yards with length 110 m
