Nordia Biotech & Pharmaceuticals HK Ltd is a pioneering biotech venture founded by Prof. Zhongjun Zhou from the Faculty of Medicine, The University of Hong Kong (HKU). Anchored in Hong Kong and leveraging the biopharma ecosystem of the Greater Bay Area and Yangtze River Delta, Nordia specializes in next-generation universal human pluripotent stem cell-derived islet organoids (SC-islets). Our mission is to deliver curative, safe, and scalable cell therapies for hundreds of millions of diabetes patients worldwide.

We have established the world’s first production platform enabling spontaneous 3D morphogenesis of SC-islets, closely recapitulating natural human islet development. By deploying an animal origin-free (AOF) and chemically-defined (CD) extracellular matrix (ECM), our system completely eliminates pathogen contamination risks and batch variability. Furthermore, our proprietary pro-angiogenic scaffold published in Cell Stem Cell rapidly promotes microvascular network infiltration upon co-transplantation, overcoming the critical global hurdles of poor cell engraftment and ischemic death.

Our scientific excellence and commercial viability are rigorously validated by the Hong Kong SAR Government, having been awarded funding under the prestigious RAISe+ Scheme by the Innovation and Technology Commission. Complementing previous backing from HKU TSSSU+, HKSTP Incu-Bio Programme, and Hong Kong X Technology Fund, we have established operations across HK Science Park and Suzhou BioBAY, creating a robust synergy between Hong Kong's deep tech R&D and Mainland China's clinical translational scale.

在临床转化方面，公司已与上海长海医院达成深度合作，针对 3c 型胰腺炎继发糖尿病及 1 型糖尿病启动研究者发起临床试验（IIT），未来将进一步拓展至香港本地及港大深圳医院。 

For clinical development, Nordia has entered into a strategic collaboration with Shanghai Changhai Hospital to initiate Investigator-Initiated Trials (IIT) for pancreatogenic Type 3c diabetes and Type 1 diabetes, with expanded plans across HKU-SZ Hospital and local Hong Kong medical hubs.  

六、融资意向与全球 BD 合作机遇 | Investment & Global BD Opportunities Sought

公司当前投后估值已达 2 亿港币。借助「一带一路」高峰论坛，我们诚寻以下两类战略合作伙伴：

1. 股权融资（Pre-A / A 轮）：计划融资 3,000 万至 5,000 万港币，专项用于食蟹猴前临床安全性最终验证、GMP 标准产线及临床试验推进。

2. 全球 BD 与商业授权：寻求与全球知名药企（如礼来、诺和诺德、勃林格殷格翰等）洽谈管线海外授权（Licensing-out）、联合开发或设立海外 NewCo；同时寻求与东南亚、中东等“一带一路”沿线高端医疗机构合作，共建跨境细胞治疗与医疗旅游中心。

With a current post-money valuation of HK$200 million, Nordia invites global investors and biopharma leaders to explore strategic partnerships:

1. Equity Financing (Pre-A / A Round): Raising HK$30–50 million to fund primate GLP preclinical validation, GMP facility, and clinical trials.

2. Global BD & Licensing: Seeking out-licensing, co-development, and overseas NewCo partnerships with multinational pharma leaders (e.g., Novo Nordisk, Eli Lilly); and inviting premium healthcare networks across Southeast Asia and the Middle East to co-establish international cell therapy centers.
