Siam Botanics: The Platform Bringing Thai Herbal Brands to Europe
Director / Co-founder at Kaewmungkornphaesaj Co., Ltd.
Thailand
About
Who we are
Siam Botanics is a seed stage Thai and Dutch joint venture built to move Thai herbal products into the European market, including herbal inhalers, herbal balms, supplements and pharmaceuticals.
KMP (Kaewmungkornphaesaj) (Thailand): GMP/PIC-S certified, ISO 9001:2015, 24 years in operation, own herbal farms, no product recalls. → kaewmungkorn.co.th
RGS Healthcare Solutions B.V. (Netherlands): an AI tender platform already commercially live with pharmaceutical and medical device companies across 60+ countries. → rgs-solutions.com
Introduced at CPHI South East Asia.
The challenge
Thailand has 800+ GMP certified herbal, supplement, cosmetic and pharmaceutical manufacturers. Almost none enter the European market systematically. EU regulatory work is slow and manual with no Thai language guidance, and product decisions are made without market data.
What we built
An AI platform with three modules: Regulatory Intelligence (correct EU registration route, compliant labelling), Demand Forecast (which products will sell, before production), and Market Opportunity (where to enter and when, including public tenders).
When the platform identifies an opportunity, our teams take it forward: legal advisors, distributors, EU entity formation, and live market testing.
Who we serve
Thai manufacturers of herbal inhalers, balms and topicals, supplements, herbal medicines, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and medical devices.
Revenue model
Three streams: D2C sales in Europe, platform licensing to Thai SMEs, and revenue share on SME products sold through our EU channels. Addressable market: 800+ Thai manufacturers, approximately 5.2 million USD per year.
Year 1: 20 companies onboarded, 185,000 USD revenue.
Year 2: 60 companies, 480,000 USD.
Year 3: 150 companies, 1.1 million USD.
Who we're looking for
Angel investor. We are raising a seed round for equity in the new joint venture entity, which will own the Siam Botanics brand and the AI platform IP. Full terms available on request.
