“Mush Composites: Grown Materials Redefining Green Building”

About

At Mush Composites, we are rethinking how the world builds. Instead of extracting finite resources, we grow sustainable materials from mycelium — the root system of fungi — and agricultural by-products. The result: high-performance, carbon-smart materials that turn waste into value.

Our flagship innovation, Mush Art Tiles, offers a striking alternative to marble and premium tiles. Each piece is “grown, not mined”, combining the beauty of natural stone with the benefits of being lightweight, durable, and biodegradable. Beyond aesthetics, our tiles represent a circular economy solution — lowering carbon emissions, minimizing waste, and enabling architects and designers to meet sustainability goals without sacrificing design excellence.

As a research-based company, we go beyond products to pioneer the next generation of green building materials. Our work has already gained global traction, showcased at Milan Design Week, the Tokyo Gift Show, and soon at ReThink HK. These milestones highlight the scalability, design relevance, and international recognition of our materials.

Aligned with the Belt and Road Initiative’s mission of sustainable infrastructure and cross-border collaboration, we are seeking partnerships with developers, architects, and innovators to integrate grown materials into future-ready projects across Asia and beyond.

Together, we can replace mined with grown, and shape a new era of sustainable construction.
