China–ASEAN Constellation
About
The China–ASEAN Constellation is a regional initiative to jointly build a shared AI satellite network. Co-led by STAR.VISION and ASEAN partners, the project aims to launch 12 low-Earth orbit AI satellites from 2025 to 2030, including SAR, hyperspectral, and multispectral types.
The Constellation supports world’s first-class agricultural monitoring, disaster response, marine observation, and smart city development, with one central control center and three regional ground stations.
The project promotes space intelligent technology transfer, local industrial growth, and long-term China–ASEAN collaboration through a public-private partnership.
