Adrian Pîslă

Prof. Adrian Pîslă, PhD, is a professor with an academic career spanning over three decades at the prestigious Technical University of Cluj-Napoca.

A specialist in machine tools, mechanical design, mechatronics, robotics, dynamic modeling, and lifecycle management, he is a PhD supervisor in the field of Engineering and Management and director of the SIEMENS PLM Authorized Training Center.

Having studied in Austria, France, Germany, the United States, and Romania, he is a founding member of the Association of Doctoral Supervisors and Excellence in

Management and Business Engineering, the Romanian Society of Powder Metallurgy, the Romanian Society of Robotics, the Ecological Foundation – Transylvania 5000, and the EUROAVIA Cluj-Napoca Association. He is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, Member of the German Society for Applied Mathematics and Mechanics, the SpaceTech aerospace technology cluster, Program Committee section 4: "Automated Manufacturing Systems" for IEEE Västerås, Sweden, and International Programme Committee for CIRP, Stellenbosch, South Africa, included in the Dictionary of Romanian Inventors, published by the Cluj Branch of ASTR.

His scientific activity includes 13 specialized books (3 in English), over 150 publications, 4 invention patents and 11 proposals currently being processed, 28 research contracts – 4 as director, 10 as principal English), over 150 publications, 4 patents and 11 proposals currently being processed, 28 research contracts – 4 as director, 7 international projects – 4 as coordinator, participation in over 120 national and international conferences and organizer of 4 international events in Romania

He has been awarded multiple prizes, such as the "Traian Vuia" Prize, awarded by the Romanian Academy, the Gold Medal, Bangkok Thailand, IPITEX "Thailand Inventors Day" and at various other international invention and innovation fairs.

Through his research, Prof. Pîslă actively contributes to the interdisciplinary development of emerging technologies applied in industry, health, and aerospace.
