Doctoring around, in an attempt to build a brighter future by improving healthcare through e-Health innovation and research
About me
I graduated the University of Medicine and Pharmacy "Carol Davila" in 2004. With a background of over 15 years in family medicine, I am passionate about medicine; expanded my clinical skills with sonography and life support competencies, while also graduating a master’s degree in public health management. Currently pursuing a second medical specialization (geriatric care) and investigating applied gerotechnologies / teshnostress as PhD student at Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy.
Passionate about IT&C (certified network administrator, by the way) I turned my own home into a smart „living lab”, experimenting first-hand benefits and inconveniences of IoT; I am part of the COMFORTage HORIZON project, leading task T8.2 (Contributions to Standardization Bodies, Clusters and Associations) on behalf of Ana Aslan International Foundation.
I am a seasoned speaker (prior media involvement, including TV host), writer (lead academic- and general public targeted medical journals as manager/editor-in-chief, participated in drafting research proposals) and doer of things (problem-solver and creative thinker). Constantly striving to improve myself.
