Giorgiana Barbu

Romanian delegate to SRG CBE and NCP Cluster 6, working at the interface of policy, research, and innovation in the bioeconomy and other Cluster 6 thematic areas.
At national level, my work focuses on collaboration with public authorities, identifying and supporting stakeholders (e.g. academia, industry, civil society) interested in European partnerships, and strengthening individual and collective understanding of the Horizon Europe programme, the CBE JU, as well as European Missions and Partnerships.
At the same time, I am a PhD candidate at the University of Bucharest, with a research focus on nature-based solutions for urban resilience and other initiatives supporting the sustainable transition of cities.
