Alexandra Dobre

I have built my career dynamically, working in various fields and implementing administrative programs with national impact. In recent years, I have focused on creating an ecosystem that improves the lives of older people, within a society based on respect and gratitude for those who contributed to the development of today’s Romania. This commitment was also reflected in my academic research, and in 2023 I obtained a PhD in Administrative Sciences, with the thesis Smart Urban Ecosystems, with Applications in Social Policies for the Elderly. In the same spirit, I founded the Romanian Institute for Active Ageing, through which I carry out programs and initiatives dedicated to seniors. I strongly believe that active ageing is not just an ideal, but a reality that becomes possible when there is care, solidarity, and initiative.
