Ship Positions - live or historical (AIS)
Partnerships at Ship Monitor by JDS
Rostock, Germany
About
Ship Monitor by JDS delivers comprehensive ship tracking data sourced from a global network of terrestrial and satellite receivers, offering both real-time updates and historical records. Organisations can access this data through flexible delivery options, including continuous streams (UDP or TCP push), secure sFTP transfers, or historical position exports.
The service enables organisations to monitor maritime activity, analyse ship behaviour, and build data-driven applications across a wide range of use cases, including port operations, fleet management, research projects, maritime security, logistics optimisation, environmental monitoring, and energy infrastructure protection. With Ship Monitor’s AIS data, clients can gain actionable insights into shipping patterns, identify anomalies, support predictive analytics, and integrate accurate maritime intelligence directly into their operational or research workflows.
The types of organisations we are looking for are port authorities, shipping operators, researchers, offshore energy firms, coast guards, logistics companies, insurers, environmental groups, fishing regulators, government agencies and research institutions.
