My organisation
About me
I am active at the startup scene as COO and Co-founder of deeptech startup company NaionX which develops an novel technology for the battery cells chemistry based on the sodium-ion.
I'm also actively engaged in the emerging Hydrogen scene in Latvia as CEO and founder of the H2Latvia were we are developing he hydrogen projects and are forming projects consortia.
My activities cover participation in the Horizon Europe project for the large-scale hydrogen valley on part of the project’s Latvian partner – Green Tech Cluster.
Together with the Freeport Authority of Ventspils I am shaping the future of the Renewable Energy Cluster in the port. My social activities include the coordination of activities of the Latvian Hydrogen Alliance and open cluster-like collaboration forum on hydrogen technology acceleration in Latvia.
Before I've made my own “Green Transition” and left the corporate world at the beginning of 2021 for 11 years I was pursuing a career in Petroleum product storage industry in various managerial roles within the company VTTI a subsidiary of the world’s largest energy trader Vitol. Before that I've dedicated 12 years to maritime industry on board the tanker vessels growing to the rank of ship’s captain.
