Handwerkskammer Region Stuttgart

The Stuttgart Region Chamber of Crafts (HWK) represents the interests of around 30,000 craft businesses in the Stuttgart region. These members are supported from the start of their careers, e.g., as journeymen or journeywomen, through the qualification stages to becoming master craftsmen or master craftswomen or business administrators. Many young people then decide to become self-employed. As start-ups, they create jobs and training places and achieve high added value. The Chamber of Crafts also supports its members in their internationalization efforts. For example, a chamber partnership was signed with the Kosovo Chamber of Commerce (KCC) in Pristina. With and through the KCC, the chamber is trying to open up markets in the Western Balkan states for its members. Participation in Balkonnect serves to deepen existing partnerships and establish new relationships.
