Dry Semi Coconut
C.E.O at FuturGen Growth
Accra, Ghana
About
A dry semi-coconut is a coconut that has undergone partial drying to remove excess moisture while retaining some natural humidity within the fruit. This form of coconut is more durable than fresh coconut but still maintains some of the texture, flavor, and nutritional qualities of the raw fruit. It is commonly used in both culinary and industrial applications.
Semi-dried coconuts generally have a moisture content of 25% to 35%. This is a middle ground between fresh coconut (which is high in moisture) and fully desiccated coconut (which is extremely dry with a moisture content of less than 5%).
