About
SEWAT: Energy from Waves
Turning the ocean’s destructive force into a clean resource.
In Short
The system uses modular concrete units with smart gates to trap wave water, creating a hydroelectric basin above sea level. As the water flows back through turbines, it generates sustainable electricity and green hydrogen.
Why SEWAT?
-
Coastal Defense: Stops erosion and filters marine plastics.
-
Zero Land Use: A single 50m module matches the output of 8 hectares of solar panels.
-
Circular Economy: Produces biofuels from algae and sand for beach nourishment.
-
Efficiency: Over 50 years of lifespan with simplified maintenance.
