Italy-India Business Forum for Economic Growth

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, in collaboration with Confindustria, Confindustria Brescia, and Confindustria Lombardia, is organizing the Italy-India Business Forum for Economic Growth, which will be held on June 5th, 2025, in Brescia, at the Santa Giulia Museum.

The event, chaired by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Antonio Tajani, and the Indian Minister of Commerce and Industry, Piyush Goyal, will bring together businesses and institutions from both countries to further strengthen bilateral economic and trade cooperation, following up on the Scientific and Technological Business Forum held on April 10th–11th in New Delhi.

The program will open in the morning of June 5th, starting at 9:30 a.m., with four thematic roundtables involving Italian and Indian companies, associations, and agencies, focusing on collaboration opportunities in the following sectors:

  1. Industry 4.0: advanced machinery, precision agriculture, agri-food processing, packaging, cold chain technologies;

  2. Energy transition and circular economy: renewable energy, waste-to-energy solutions, smart cities;

  3. Transport: railways; automotive sector and components;

  4. Space.

This will be followed by a plenary session opened by the two Ministers.
