Biome Sustainability Ventures is a government-funded startup supported by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Ministry of Science & Technology, and the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare. We are on a mission to redefine how building materials are made—shifting away from resource-intensive, pollutive practices toward a circular, climate-positive future.

Our core innovation lies in transforming agricultural waste, such as rice & wheat straw, into high-performance, formaldehyde-free alternatives to conventional engineered-wood products like plywood and MDF. By doing so, we address critical environmental challenges including deforestation, stubble burning, and rural economic disparity.

Biome's solutions are designed to be not just sustainable, but also scalable and responsible—reducing emissions, conserving natural resources, and creating new income streams for farming communities. Our vision is to build a cleaner, greener world using the power of biotechnology, material science, and systems thinking rooted in circular economy principles.
