Devi James Melchior

Ms Devi Jessie Mary James Melchior is a dynamic personality in global logistics and supply chain strategy, currently serving as Senior Vice President – Logistics at K-Indev Logistics (formerly known as Kerry Indev Logistics Private Limited), one of India’s leading integrated logistics providers.

Since entering the sector in 2019, she has driven high-impact initiatives across multimodal logistics, Customs House Agency (CHA), international freight forwarding, warehousing, transportation, and project logistics swiftly rising through the ranks —steering business growth, operational agility, and innovation.

Her leadership is marked by deep engagement with public-private policy dialogue with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, India, Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), and other regulatory bodies contributing to National Logistics Policy and actively shaping national logistics frameworks, warehousing standards amongst others.

A recognized industry voice, Devi regularly speaks at prominent platforms such as the South East CEO Conclave, East Coast Maritime Forum, FICCI and Federation of Indian Export Organisations, among others.

She holds an MBA in Marketing from the Loyola College – Pondicherry University Twinning Program, and is a certified Customs Broker under India’s CBLR 2018 regulations. Her academic credentials include a Leadership Fellowship from the prestigious East-West Center in Hawai’i, along with advanced certifications in dangerous goods handling, warehouse design, digitalization & Tech and export-import compliance.

In 2021, she was awarded Woman Professional of the Year at the SECC Logistics Awards for her outstanding contributions to the industry.
