About
The new EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) requires companies to ensure their products are free from deforestation before entering the European market. For many small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), this means navigating complex requirements — from tracing raw material origins to assessing and reducing deforestation risks.
Through the EU-funded LIFE FairTHRIVE project we support SMEs with hands-on guidance, tailored training, and practical tools — guiding them towards EUDR readiness.

Participation is voluntary and does not require being Fairtrade certified nor is it obligatory to get certified later.
However, companies are expected to actively participate in workshops and training sessions, analyse their own supply chains, and share their experiences.
