Batna, AlgeriaAbout
I am an Algerian veterinarian and Animal Health professional with around 10 years of experience in the veterinary pharmaceutical sector, including international partnerships, regulatory coordination, imports, market development and livestock health.
Over the past years, my professional focus has increasingly moved closer to the field — particularly dairy farming, animal health, farm resilience and the practical adaptation of smart farming solutions to Algerian and North African realities.
I am currently developing a structured programme of dairy farm visits in Algeria, analysing farms beyond individual technical parameters and looking at the wider value chain: feed and forage availability, reproduction, animal health, milk production and quality, farm management, costs, collection systems and relationships with processors.
These observations are also being benchmarked against dairy systems, technologies and farming practices encountered through international exposure and farm visits in Europe.
My approach to smart farming is deliberately pragmatic.
I believe technology should address a clearly identified farm problem, fit the economic and environmental context, and generate measurable value. In many production systems, resilience starts with strong fundamentals: nutrition, biosecurity, herd management, reliable data, farmer training and economically viable operating models.
My particular areas of interest include:
• Dairy farming and herd health
• Veterinary pharmaceuticals and regulatory environments
• Dairy value-chain analysis and farm benchmarking
• Smart farming and agritech
• Biosecurity and preventive animal health
• Feed security and climate resilience
• One Health
• International technical collaboration
I am visiting Dairy Farms, where my work focuses on connecting international dairy experience with the realities observed on Algerian farms.
My objective is to help bridge global expertise and local field reality, developing practical, progressive and scalable approaches for dairy farming in Algeria and, more broadly, North Africa.
I am open to consulting assignments, technical collaborations, field projects, speaking opportunities and international partnerships related to animal health, dairy farming and agritech.
