Ian Perkes Fish Merchants Ltd is a family-run fish merchant and seafood exporter based directly on Brixham Fish Market in Devon, UK.

Established in 1976, we have 50 years of experience sourcing and supplying high-quality British seafood to customers throughout the UK and Europe.

Our location gives us a unique advantage. We are directly on the market, allowing us to select fish from the daily landings ourselves — seeing, smelling and handling the product before we buy. We work closely with local fishermen and focus on quality, consistency and traceability from the point of landing through to our customers.

We are strong exporters into the Continent, with a particular focus on Brixham Octopus and Cuttlefish, alongside Hake and a wide range of premium wild-caught fish and seafood. We are looking to build long-term relationships with European wholesalers, distributors and seafood businesses seeking reliable access to high-quality British product.

Our combination of direct market access, experienced sourcing and established export capabilities allows us to offer customers a genuine connection to the British fishing fleet and some of the finest seafood landed on the UK coast.
