Karolina Socha-Kalinowska

She has over 18 years of experience in public media service. She began her career at the Polish public service broadcaster Telewizja Polska (TVP) in 2006, working in the International Affairs Department and Trade. For five years, she was Head of International Relations, where she was responsible for presenting TVP's films in competitions at international film festivals worldwide, managing institutional relations, overseeing program exchanges and co-productions, and coordinating with all TVP departments regarding their participation in international projects.

She currently serves as Head of the Heart of Europe TV Festival & Forum — a flagship TVP’s event promoting Central and Eastern European creativity and diversity — where she fosters regional co-productions and collaboration.

In recent years, she has also served as a juror for Prix Italia, the International Emmy Awards, and Rose d'Or. She holds a Master's in Journalism and Political Science from the University of Warsaw.
