Çambaşı Ski Resort: The Rising Winter Tourism Destination of the Black Sea
Over the past five years, Çambaşı Ski Resort has become one of the most prominent winter tourism destinations in the region through strategic investments and sustainable growth. The total length of ski slopes has been expanded from 5 kilometers to 25 kilometers, creating a diverse and safe skiing environment suitable for both amateur and professional skiers.
The accommodation infrastructure has been significantly strengthened, including 12 chalet-style mountain houses, a distinctive wooden restaurant reflecting the region’s natural character, a 74-bed hotel, and two restaurants serving guests throughout the year. Thanks to these developments, Çambaşı Ski Resort welcomes an average of 200,000 visitors annually, contributing substantially to the regional economy.
Beyond skiing, the resort offers a wide range of winter activities such as snowmobile tours, zipline, sledding, and snowtubing tracks, providing visitors with a dynamic and diversified experience. To ensure snow reliability and extend the ski season, modern snowmaking systems have been installed, minimizing weather-related risks. Looking ahead, plans include increasing accommodation capacity and investing in new mechanical lift facilities to further enhance the skiing experience in terms of comfort, accessibility, and safety. The long-term vision is to position Çambaşı Ski Resort not only as a regional attraction but also as a nationally and internationally recognized winter tourism destination.
With its natural beauty, high altitude, and continuous investments, Çambaşı continues to strengthen its brand value as a premier winter tourism hub in the Black Sea region.
