China Council for the Promotion of International Trade
About
The China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, or CCPIT, is China’s national trade and investment promotion agency. Founded in 1952, CCPIT serves as an important bridge between the Chinese and international business communities.
CCPIT promotes trade, investment, and economic cooperation through exhibitions, forums, business matchmaking, trade and investment services, commercial legal services, and intellectual property support. With a nationwide network and extensive international partnerships, CCPIT helps Chinese and foreign companies connect, communicate, and cooperate.
CCPIT Representative Office in Austria was originally opened in 1966 and then incorperated into the Embassy of China after the establishment of China-Austria diplomatic relations in 1971. In 2023, the Representative Office was re-established.
