History
Dream Srl has been funded in 2015, gathering an experience of almost forty years developed mainly in the structural aeronautical field. The roots of these activities are steeped in the academic culture of general aviation and branch out both in the technical-scientific field and in that of the construction of aircraft, the related ground and in-flight checks and their certification.
The spread of calculation methods, of experimental analysis and verification procedures for generations of aerospace engineers, together with a continuous interaction with the industrial, national and international operating fabric, has been one of the pillars of the development of the company, founded precisely to give continuity to an operational tradition and a continuous desire to deal with new problems typical of the aerospace sector.
The curiosity of academic research, always linked to real problems, is one of the characteristics of Dream Srl, making it an active part in research programs that address developments and integrations in the sector.
The activities
Dream Srl collects the skills that have been formed as a result of participation in the development, testing and certification of all Tecnam SpA aircraft, starting with the certification of the P92J, and up to that of the ultra-modern P2012 Traveler.
In the development of these aeronautical programs, Dream Srl has been responsible for the aeroelastic checks, through the execution of ground vibration tests (GVT), the validation of the numerical models and the execution of flutter calculations, for all the requirements of the aeronautical certification.
The company also merged all the skills gained from having performed all the external noise certification tests of Tecnam aircraft, from the participation in an intense, multi-year and complex program for the reduction of external noise emitted by the Piaggio P-180 aircraft, external noise tests of other general aviation aircraft.
Dream Srl is recognized as a certified body for the execution and control of external noise tests by the German body DULV for light aircraft up to 600 kg maximum take-off weight.
Software
Dream Srl uses commercial software for finite element calculation needs and for experimental vibration tests, but has the ability to interface with its own programs developed "in-house" to be able to connect to the results of these calculations and analyze them automatically and specific for special needs.
It has also developed some software able to manage and analyze the experimental measurements of:
calculation of the acoustic fatigue of structural components
ground vibration tests (experimental modal analysis)
vibration tests in operating conditions (operational modal analysis)
measurements of the sound absorption coefficient of materials
flight parameter measurements (black-box)
in-flight flutter tests
Research projects:
Dream gathers thirty years of experience in the preparation, development, participation, execution and management of numerous research projects, regional, national and international, on the theme of the dynamics of structures, the fluid-structure interaction, the optimization of materials for reduction applications. of internal aircraft noise.
