Digital Presso

Digital Presso is an AI startup based in Pangyo, South Korea, building software that removes the documentation burden from construction sites. Founded in May 2024, the company develops RenameDP, a B2B SaaS platform that automates how field records are captured, organized, and turned into official reports.

The Problem
On a typical construction site, engineers and site managers take hundreds of photos and notes every day. They then spend hours after work renaming files, sorting them by location and work type, and writing daily work logs and inspection reports by hand. Small and mid-sized sites feel this most. Many sites under KRW 5 billion in contract value have no dedicated safety or documentation staff, so the same few people who run the site also carry the paperwork.

Our Solution: RenameDP
RenameDP uses AI to recognize the location, point in time, and work type in site photos and voice input. It then automatically names and organizes files and generates first drafts of daily work logs and inspection reports. Workers capture information hands-free through a mobile device or smart glasses. The platform uses vision-language models (VLM), OCR, and an AI copilot to structure that information into standardized records.

RenameDP is organized into five core modules:

• Drawing management: project drawings organized and linked to field records

• Construction records and defect requests: photo- and voice-based logging of work progress and defect repair requests

• Automatic daily work logs: draft logs generated from the day's captured data

• Risk assessment records: review and documentation of risk assessment results

• Schedule and budget dashboard: visual overview of progress and cost status

Our goal is to cut documentation time by more than 90% and raise data structuring accuracy to 95% or higher. We are currently improving accuracy from 82% toward that target. On-device AI processing, which keeps data on the worker's device, is part of our expansion roadmap.

Who We Serve
Our initial focus is small and mid-sized construction sites, general contractors, and specialty contractors that need reliable documentation without adding headcount. Pricing is designed to cost less than half the monthly wage of one full-time worker per site.

Technology and IP
Digital Presso holds a registered Korean patent for an OCR and deep-learning-based facility management service system. We have two further patent applications pending: one covering on-device voice-based function-call automation, and one covering voice analysis linked to construction equipment and assets. We also hold registered trademarks. We conduct joint research on VLM-based multimodal data structuring with the AI Vision Lab at Sookmyung Women's University.

Milestones and Recognition

• Released the RenameDP MVP in October 2024 and signed an MOU with Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) as an in-house venture partner

• Received letters of intent to purchase from 20 general construction companies for the electrical construction version (December 2024)

• Selected for the Youth Startup Academy by the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency (2025)

• Certified as an innovation-growth Venture Company by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, and selected as a 2026 Family Company of the Korea Institute of Civil Engineering and Building Technology (KICT) (January 2026)

• Participated in the GMEP Global Accelerating Program hosted by the Korea Agency for Infrastructure Technology Advancement (April 2026)

Our Team
Our leadership combines business strategy, AI research, and construction expertise. The CEO brings seven years of corporate strategy experience. The CTO leads AI R&D, including small and vision-language model engines. The CPO holds a master's degree in architectural engineering and a Korean Architectural Engineer certification, and designs how the product fits real site workflows.

Where We're Going
RenameDP is preparing for commercial launch, with pilot sites secured in Seoul. Beyond Korea, we plan to expand into Southeast Asia and Europe, bringing AI-powered field documentation to construction teams worldwide.
