OW Ferment

OW Ferment is a Finnish circular economy company developing a patent-pending fermentation technology for the local treatment and valorisation of agricultural and organic side streams.

Our modular, container-based solution is designed to process organic residues close to where they are generated and transform them into valuable soil-improvement and nutrient-recycling products. The aim is to reduce waste, improve nutrient circulation, support healthier soil and contribute to more sustainable and resource-efficient food production.

The technology is currently being developed and validated through laboratory analyses, practical testing and collaboration with agricultural operators. OW Ferment is preparing pilot projects under real operating conditions to verify product performance, optimise the process and demonstrate the commercial value of the solution.

The business model is designed around scalable modular processing units and the commercialisation of the resulting soil-improvement products. This creates potential value for farms, food producers and other organisations that generate organic side streams while also addressing the growing need for local nutrient recycling and circular solutions.
