Allen Kyarisiima Uganda

I am a Ugandan entrepreneur and sustainability practitioner specializing in waste management, circular economy systems, and waste-to-value infrastructure. I serve as the Chief Executive Officer of Just Clean It Limited and Strategic Lead at the Zero Waste Management Association of Uganda (ZWMAU), where I work to transition cities and institutions from landfill dependence to bankable, environmentally compliant recovery systems.

My focus areas include organics recovery, engineered composting, recycling value chains, and waste-to-energy initiatives such as biogas and refuse-derived fuel. I work at the intersection of policy, technology, and finance, helping local governments and investors structure projects that reduce landfill pressure while generating commercial and environmental returns.

I am passionate about building partnerships that transform waste challenges into scalable, investable solutions for African cities, while creating jobs, improving soil health, and supporting climate-resilient development.
