Renaissance Semiconductor Ltd (RENSEMI) is a UK-based semiconductor technology company specialising in the research, design and development of advanced computing architectures, energy-efficient AI accelerators and programmable digital signal processing (DSP) technologies.
Our mission is to develop innovative semiconductor intellectual property that enables efficient, scalable and high-performance computing for next-generation intelligent systems.
Our technology development focuses on three complementary areas:

AI Computing: Proprietary mixed-precision AI accelerator architectures supporting efficient machine learning inference, with a focus on computational performance, energy efficiency and scalable integration.

Programmable DSP: Configurable digital signal processing architectures for demanding real-time applications, including intelligent sensing, biomedical signal processing and embedded systems.

Semiconductor IP and SoC Development: Custom digital hardware architectures, RTL design, FPGA-based prototyping, hardware/software co-design and ASIC-oriented development.
RENSEMI is developing a modular computing technology portfolio designed to progress from FPGA-based validation towards commercial semiconductor IP and ASIC implementations.
Commercialisation and Collaboration
Our commercialisation strategy includes semiconductor IP licensing, technology integration, collaborative R&D and strategic industry partnerships.
We are particularly interested in engaging with semiconductor manufacturers, system integrators, technology companies, research organisations and industry partners exploring advanced computing, edge AI and intelligent embedded systems.
RENSEMI aims to contribute to the UK's semiconductor innovation ecosystem through the development and commercialisation of differentiated computing technologies.
