Omplir Limited
Small to Medium Enterprise (SME)
London, United KingdomAbout
Omplir develops secure devices and software using a very simple, structured, regular, Turing-complete programming language with extremely reduced, hardened and proven toolchain, itself implementable in hardware for security. Omplir, as a deterministic finite automata or DFA, is more akin to transistor or register transfer level (RTL) than traditional software. Massively parallel small elements lead to fewer semantic gaps. Viruses, drones, insects - all demonstrate the emergent power of mass small actors over fewer larger actors.

One line proposition
Extremely simple, proven and hardened toolchain for secure and massively parallel computing
Problem / solution
Traditional systems have very complex, multi-layered semantics - down from HLLs to micro-code. Fat layers and boundaries lead to semantic gaps and faults. Such software sets like concrete because of conservatism. Omplir is a Turing-complete structured regular expression (deterministic finite automata or DFA) - more akin to transistor or register transfer level (RTL). High volume of small elements leads to fewer semantic gaps. The simple translation toolchain can be extremely reduced, hardened and proven.
