Our experience is rooted in practical innovation and problem-solving as well as finance and funding. Over several decades we have worked across engineering, manufacturing, automotive and transport, energy and thermal management, materials and polymers, digital systems and, increasingly, AI-enabled technologies.
Our role is often to identify the underlying technical or commercial problem, help develop the innovation required to address it, bring together the appropriate engineers, scientists, technology businesses and commercial specialists, and create a credible route from concept through R&D, validation, funding and ultimately to market.
This has included work on product and manufacturing innovation, commercial-vehicle thermal management, energy and thermal-performance applications, materials and process improvement, technology-enabled business processes and independent-living technologies.
Funding and commercialisation are an integral part of that capability. Over his career, Genesis' founder has supported the raising and securing of approximately £300 million of investment, project finance, technology and innovation funding and grants, across major industrial projects internationally and UK innovation programmes.
Genesis operates through a multidisciplinary partnership model rather than attempting to hold every specialist capability internally. For our current technology programmes, we are assembling expertise spanning technology and science, AI and intelligent sensing, healthcare, the independent and assisted-living sector, investment, R&D funding and commercialisation. Specialist semiconductor and technology-development partners are also being sought.
Our intended route to market follows the same principle: combine Genesis' innovation, programme-development, funding and commercial expertise with specialist technology developers, healthcare and end-user validation partners, and established industry organisations capable of taking successful technologies into large-scale markets.
We believe successful innovation requires more than an idea or an invention. It requires bringing together the right problem, science, engineering, people, funding, validation and route to market — and turning those elements into a commercially viable product or business.
