Investment Partner Sought — ELM Adaptive Resilience Fabric
Founder and Director at ELM WORLD LTD
Bristol, United Kingdom
About
ELM WORLD LTD is seeking an approved Innovate UK Investor Partner and strategic seed investment for the ELM Adaptive Resilience Fabric.
Company stage: Seed and early commercial validation.
Research category: Industrial research.
Current team: Founder-led, with 0–1 employees. The proposed investment and project plan include expanding the technical and commercial delivery team.
Investment sought: Approximately £200,000–£300,000 of aligned private investment.
Proposed R&D project: £250,000–£400,000 in total eligible costs, based in Bristol, United Kingdom.
Problem and solution: UK SMEs increasingly depend on fragmented SaaS platforms, third-party cloud infrastructure and connectivity with limited resilience, data control or automated recovery. ELM is building an integrated alternative combining UK-hosted privately managed infrastructure, resilient WAN connectivity, open-source collaboration services and controlled AI operations.
The ELM Adaptive Resilience Fabric is an AI-native architecture for continuous network and service telemetry, intelligent fault detection and automated recovery across customer connectivity and ELM-managed services. The project aligns with Theme 1 of the Innovate UK ACT competition, particularly secure and resilient networks and AI-native autonomous network architectures.
Current progress: ELM’s infrastructure is operational and early customer onboarding is underway. Recent development includes an AI business worker integrated across managed email, documents, storage, calendars and collaboration services, together with controlled AI-assisted workflows for federated social platforms.
Intellectual property: Company-developed software, integration workflows and system architecture. No registered patents are currently claimed.
Funding raised to date: No external equity funding has been raised. ELM has been founder-funded to date.
Partner sought: An approved Innovate UK Investor Partner able to assess the opportunity, lead or catalyse the aligned investment, submit the required EOI and contribute strategic expertise in connectivity, infrastructure, cybersecurity, AI operations or B2B technology commercialisation.
