About me

My name is Fatoumata  Bah, I am a nurse- midwife and also has a masters degree public health majoring public policy. I have been practicing as a nurse-Midwife until 2005 when I move in to academia. I was appointed at The Gambia College School of Nursing & Midwifery where I rose from an assistant lecturer, lecturer, senior lecturer, principal lecturer then the head of School. Currently as the head of school, I am engaged in both teaching and administration. I have taught and mentored a significant number of nurses and midwives who a currently occupying various roles and positions in the health sector both in country and internationally. My achievements includes: Fellowship West African Postgraduate College of Nursing, Harvard Chan Burdett Trust fellow and i am a GamRemti Scholar.
