Terms and Conditions of Use
In using registering for Future Match and/or this website, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions (the "Terms") set out below. If you do not agree to the Terms then you may not register for Future Match nor use this website.
1. Definitions:
"Website" means www.futurematch.cebit.de and www.b2match.eu/futurematch2012.
"You/Your" means you, the registrant to Future Match and/or user of this Website.
"User Information" refers to information provided by you via the Website.
"We/Us/Our" means the main organisers of Future Match as listed in the Organisers and Partners on this Website (www.futurematch.cebit.de).
2. Registration:
2.1
You agree that the User Information which You provide when You register is true, accurate, current and complete in all respects and You agree to notify Us as soon as possible of any changes to the User Information by amending Your User Information online within the Profile Administration section of the Website.
2.2
You will be required to select a password during the registration process. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the password and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under them during Your use of the Website. You agree not to share Your password with others or allow access to multiple users through a single password.
2.3
We reserve the right to decline any application from You to register for Future Match at Our sole discretion.
2.4
We reserve the right to limit the number of meeting requests and the number of meetings scheduled for each participant at our sole discretion.
3. Fees and Payment of costs incurred:
3.1
There is a registration fee for Future Match of Euro 110 (+ 19 % VAT for participants from Germany). Paying participants will receive an entrance ticket to the fair. The registration fee will not be refunded if you do not participate in the event or do not have any meetings scheduled.
3.2
Should additional costs arise in connection with Your participation at the event including costs incurred by Us for making adjustments to the management tool for Future Match, We reserve the right to pass these costs on to You. Such adjustments shall only be made in prior agreement with You.
4. Copyright and database rights
4.1
All rights, title, and interest (including all copyrights and other intellectual property rights) in the Website belong to Us. You acquire no proprietary interest in the Website by using it, registering therein or attending an event run by us.
4.2
You agree not to decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, rent, lease, loan, sublicense or create derivative works from the Web site, which includes the information and software made available therein. Save as otherwise expressly provided in any Additional Terms, You may not copy, save, download, modify, reproduce, republish, distribute, transmit or use for any purposes, whether commercial or non-commercial, the Web site or any information contained therein, except to the extent necessarily required in order for You to display, use and navigate the Web site. IN PARTICULAR BUT WITHOUT LIMITATION NO PERSON SHALL DOWNLOAD OR OTHERWISE EXTRACT SUBSTANTIVE AMOUNTS OF INFORMATION CONCERNING REGISTERED USERS OR THEIR COMPANIES AND MAKE SUCH DATA AVAILABLE TO THIRD PARTIES WHO WOULD NOT OTHERWISE HAVE ACCESS TO SUCH COLLATED INFORMATION.
4.3
You acknowledge that by posting any materials on the Web site You grant to Us an irrevocable, perpetual and royalty-free licence to use the materials within the Web site and in ways necessary for the functioning of Future Match. Other uses of material You post are covered in Our privacy policy.
5. Your Obligations
5.1
You agree that You will only use the Website in a manner that is consistent with these Terms and any Additional Terms and in such a way as to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations (including without limitation Your local law as far as it is applicable).
5.2
To the extent to which Your use or the use by any person who may be authorised by You or for whom You are responsible (for example, as employer) causes loss or damage to Us or any person, You agree to indemnify Us immediately on demand in relation to any such losses or damages attributable to them, including where necessary any legal, administrative or technical charges that may arise from such use.
6. Our Obligations to You and Limitations on Liability

We cannot guarantee that the Web site will always be fully operational or error free and so We do not accept responsibility for any defects that may exist or for any costs, loss of profits, loss of data or consequential losses arising from Your use of or inability to access the Web site.
6.2
We make no warranty that participation in Future Match will meet Your requirements or that use of the Web site will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the site or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or bugs or represents the full functionality, accuracy, reliability of the materials or as to results or the accuracy of any information obtained by You through the Web site.
6.3
We do not assess or endorse any of the material submitted to Us and/or posted on the Web site including the accuracy or reliability of any text, information, data, representations, statements or other material whatsoever.
6.4
We are liable for damages other than due to injury to life, limb or health only if such arise from a gross negligence or wilful breach of duty by us, our agents, servants or delegates.
6.5
We may provide links to other Web sites or resources and may post, accept the posting of or make available content provided by third parties ("Third Party Content"). We do not accept responsibility for the Third Party Content and do not and cannot be deemed to have endorsed any Third Party Content. In particular, You acknowledge that We will not be party to any transaction or contract with a third party that You may enter into and that We shall have no liability to You in respect of any such transaction, whether arising in contract, tort, under statute or otherwise. You undertake that You will not involve Us in any dispute between You and the third party.

We will at all times comply with Our privacy policy (see below).
7. Our Rights
We reserve the right to:
7.1
deny or suspend Your participation in Future Match and/or access to the Web site or any part thereof if Your participation in Future Match and/or use of the Web site is deemed by Us against the interests of other users or in breach of these Terms;
7.2
modify or withdraw, temporarily or permanently, the Web site (or any part thereof) with or without notice to You and You confirm that We shall not be liable to You or any third party for any modification to or withdrawal of the Web site;
7.3
change these terms and conditions at any point in time without giving reasons, save for the case that this is unreasonable for You. We will inform You about changes of the terms and conditions in time. If You do not object to the new terms and conditions within two (2) weeks time after having been informed, the new terms and conditions will be regarded as having been confirmed by You. When informing You of a change in the terms and conditions, we will also inform You of your right of objection and the meaning of the objection period.
7.4
refuse to place any content or material provided by You onto the Web site in Our sole discretion and to remove any content or material from the Web site once uploaded in Our sole discretion.
8. Cancellation
We reserve the right to cancel Future Match at any time for any reasons within Our control, in which case the registration fee will be refunded. Any further lost expenditure can only be reimbursed in cases of deliberate intent in full or of gross negligence
9. General
9.1
If any part of the Terms shall be deemed unlawful, void or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed to be severable from the Terms and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any of the remaining provisions of the Terms.
9.2
No waiver by Us shall be construed as a waiver of any proceeding or succeeding breach of any provision.
9.3
Each provision of the Terms shall be construed as separately applying and surviving even if for any reason one or other of those provisions is held to be inapplicable or unenforceable in any circumstances.

Privacy Policy
The Main Organiser Leibniz University of Hannover / uni transfer is responsible for the organisation of Future Match 2012.
FFG - Österreichische Forschungsförderungsgesellschaft mbH is assigned to provide the online matchmaking system.
What kind of information will be collected?
Registration
If you register as a participant in Future Match, we will save data, in order to provide you with matchmaking services.
We ask you to enter person and company related information. These data, which will be saved for your profile, contain: name, address, email address, phone number, and more. Personal user data will be kept strictly confidential and not passed on, unless you explicitly agree to this.
Cookies
You will not be able to use this website if you do not accept cookies. Session Cookies are used solely to simplify website use. The cookies will be deleted as soon as you log out of the system.
Log Files and Statistics
As far as it is necessary for safety reasons, IP addresses are saved for a limited time in the logfiles. Anonymous statistics are created for website traffic evaluation or for accounting purposes. Individual user profiles are not created or linked to personally assignable information.
Illegal Content
You are responsible for the content you create for your profile. The information must be true, and must not violate any rights or offend against dignity. Otherwise we are authorized to delete your profile.
Who uses your data?
If the Main Organiser or FFG use the services of a third party for supplying the offered services, they are authorized to forward your data as far as it is necessary for technical administration and maintenance of the products.
To whom will personal data be passed on?
Participants’ profiles will be published in the internet, freely accessible worldwide.
Administration and Deletion of your data
You have the right to access your data, get information about your data, and correct it.
If you want us to delete your profile, we will of course do that after your notice.
Data Integrity
We take every precaution to save your data and to avoid any misuse from outside. Therefore we use various measures, such as encryption (SSL), firewalls, hacker-defence programs, and manual safety devices. SSL encryption is active when the key symbol is closed and the address starts with "https://".
We only save personal data entered by you. No other personal data is saved.
